Spanish design factory adds its touch to 'Curve' revamp

Kukuxumusu and Dahon team up for limited folder

Dahon has announced a new limited model based around the ‘Curve’ model and created alongisde Spanish ‘design factory’ Kukuxumusu (pronounced: koo-koo-shoo-moo-shoo)

The bikes will be available to retailers around the world, but will also be on display in Spain’s Kukuxumusu chain.

“I’ve been a big fan of Kukuxumusu’s style and humor for several years now and thought it would be really fun to work with them on a limited edition bike,” stated Joshua Hon, Dahon vice president. “We spend most of our days focused on the functionality and utility of our products – but sometimes, it’s great to break out and just make something that looks really cool.”

Kukuxumusu, which means “the kiss of the flea” in the Basque language, is best known for its expressive and irreverent designs, especially those of the running of the bulls of San Fermin. The company’s designs can be found on T-shirts, and a select range of consumer products around the world.

Dahon will produce 1,000 sets of the limited edition bicycle and will ship to distributors worldwide in June. This special bike will be available in: Spain, the United States, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan.
