Lock manufacturer bolsters product offering with new online features

Kryptonite unveils online registration for anti-theft protection

Madison-distributed bicycle security brand Kryptonite has this week introduced a new online enrolment process to boost bike security.

Available on the company’s new web site www.kryptonitelock.com, and part of its Anti-Theft Protection Program, the online registration tool provides customers with a quick and convenient way to take advantage of one of Kryptonite’s core offerings.

The firm’s Anti-Theft Protection Program was created back in 1974 and is available on certain u-locks and chains for UK customers. For customers who are registered for the programme, Kryptonite reimburses up to a specified amount in the event the customer’s bike is stolen as a result of the applicable lock being defeated, when used properly.

“For more than 35 years, we have stood behind our products and have demonstrated that confidence through the Anti-Theft Protection Program,” said Alison Donlan, director of product portfolio for Kryptonite. “Offering online registration for the Anti-Theft Protection Program highlights our continued focus and commitment to providing customers with the ultimate Kryptonite lock experience.”

Kryptonite has also launched a new interactive support tool. Located in the FAQ section, this new tool provides an online community for customers to quickly find answers to their questions. Customers can share feedback on products and other offerings, while contributing to the online community on the new Kryptonite web site.
