Kryptonite, producer of chains, cables, u-locks and flexible security systems for the bicycle market, today launched the new Global Anti-Theft Protection Offer.
Effective today, the new Anti-Theft Protection Offer (ATPO) is available to customers in nearly 30 countries, including 24 in Europe. In addition, customers are now able to register and, in the event of filing a claim, do so right from the Kryptonite website.
Kryptonite’s ATPO is an optional offer available for up to five years of coverage on certain u-locks and chains (ATPO noted on the product package and on the website). The ATPO offers registered customers reimbursement up to a specific monetary amount, in the event their bikes or powersport vehicles are stolen due to the unintended opening or breaking of the lock by force.
Coverage ranges from £300 for a moderate security lock (5/10) to £3,000 for the top ultimate security (10/10) products. Registration costs range from $9.99 (USD) for one year to $29.99 (USD) for five years. All high and ultimate security products will continue to include the first year of coverage at no cost.

The ATPO is available in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States.
