After a spell away, Kona is back at Halfords.
The Vancouver brand will send its first models in-store this month, including the 2015 Lava Dome 29er, Fire Mountain 27.5, Dew 700c Hybrid.
The NuNu 27.5 will be a Halfords exclusive and the Blast 27.5 will join this line-up in September.
The Limited Edition Kona NuNu 27.5 is pitched as an all rounder and hits the £699 price point. The Lava Dome’s 2015 29er model features a 6061 Aluminium frame with Suntour XCT 100mm travel front suspension and a SRAM X4 drivetrain. The Lava Dome 29er retails at £499.
The Kona Fire Mountain 27.5 includes Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, a Shimano Altus 27 speed drivetrain and Suntour XCR 100mm front fork (£549) and the coming-in-September Blast 27.5 is a hardtail set on Kona’s Scandium frame, with Deore/Alivio drivetrain, Shimano’s M396 hydraulic disc brakes, a RockShox XC30 (100mm front-end travel) and Maxxis tyres, all for £799.
The Halfords-stocked Kona line-up also includes the city commuter and weekend leisure focused Kona Dew, featuring a 24 speed Shimano drivetrain, alloy V-brakes and Kenda 700c tyres (£399).
