Kona releases new Process 24 kids bike

Kona has released its new Process 24 kids bike.

The Process 24 is designed with similar geometric characteristics to Kona’s full-size bikes and is powered by a Shimano Deore 1x drivetrain.

The frame is made of Kona’s 6061 DH aluminium butted tubing and utilises their beamer suspension platform.

The bike also features Alex DM24 24” wheels and 100mm of front and rear suspension, which is custom tuned for lighter riders.

It also has a RockShox Deluxe R Solo Air rear shock and a Manitou Machete Comp Air 100mm fork.

Both the front and rear tires are Kenda Kinetics Rear 24×2.35, and the Process 24 also has a Kona DJ saddle and an FSA Alpha Drive crankset.

The brakes are Shimano hydraulic with 180mm front/180mm rear rotor, and there is a Kona Thumb OB seat post and a Kona OB Bar/Kona OB Stem cockpit with Kona Key Grip.

To give the bike a proper introduction, eight-year old Max McCormac headed out to the trails of Kamloops Bike Ranch on the Process 24 with Graham Agassiz, who was aboard his Process 165.
