Keeping up with Cadel Evans for 50 miles … on a Brompton

Richard Spencer, the North American operations manager for Brompton, rode one of his company’s products on a 93 mile "gran fondo" sportive at the Sea Otter Classic in California yesterday. That alone would be no mean feat, considering the climbs and the heat and the sun, but Spencer also kept up with pro roadie Cadel Evans (who may not have been trying too hard) for a full fifty miles.
