Turin-based group BasicNet S.p.A owns the Kappa clothing brand and has signed a sponsorship deal with Team Saeco. The two-person Kappa logo is currently seen on the shirts of 40 international football teams including Feyenoord FC and Tottenham Hotspur. The collaboration between Kappa and Saeco will be for team clothing and merchandising spin-offs and will also include co-marketing and joint promotions.

Kappa to produce cycle clothing

The agreement will last two seasons. The cycling clothing will be developed with the help of Cannondale, suplier of bikes to Team Saeco.

Team Saeco will hold its official team presentation at the Basic Village in Turin, Kappa’s HQ, on January 21st.

As well as football, Kappa creates sports clothing for skiing, golf, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and motorbike racing.
