The third annual staging of PressCamp takes place June 20-24th in Deer Valley resort, near Park City, Utah.
Editors and journalists representing forty mags, blogs and news websites will be attending the expo, based on getting writers into exhibitors’ condos for one-on-one new product presentations. The writers get to demo products in afternoon ride sessions on the slopes of Deer Valley.
As well as the usual suspects – Bicycling Magazine, VeloNews, Bicycle Retailer, BikeBiz, BikeRadar.com and Singletrack – PressCamp also attracts writers from mags such as Wired, Popular Science and Outside. There will also be representation from blogs such as Bike Hugger and Bikerumor as well as audio from the Fredcast podcast.
"If your brand has a story to tell, you may be hard pressed to beat the value of this four-day camp," said a statement from Lifeboat Events, organiser of PressCamp and DealerCamp, a similar event for US IBDs.
Exhibitors include Assos, Blue (the bike brand, not the Eurovision boy band), Enve, Gore Ride-on, Specialized, Lazer helmets, Sugoi, Ridley, and NuVinci.
