JRP Distribution, an automotive distribution company, has announced the expansion of its cycling offering by incorporating two new cycling ranges from Simply Brands and Svitol.
JRP is an established distributor that has been servicing the industry for more than 40 years.
During its tenure, it has continued to expand its offering from automotive products, to include products for motorbikes as well as, most recently, bicycles.
Due to the comprehensive range that JRP distributes, in many instances, it’s a one stop shop, but with these new launches from these brands, JRP can now service the cycling industry too.
With this new cycling offering, JRP can now provide its customers with accessories and repair products from Simply Brands and a bike care range from Svitol.
A spokesperson for JRP commented: “Cycling is continuing to grow in popularity and, especially as the seasons change, cycling enthusiasts will be eager to get back out on the open road and experience the beautiful views the UK has to offer.
“However before this, cyclists need to check what condition their bike is in and what they need to fix or improve before heading out. This provides retailers a promising upselling opportunity to a cycling community that is passionate about its bikes and are therefore looking for quality products.”
The Simply Cycling range encompasses the basic accessories for cyclists, such as universal handlebars, pedals and lights.
There are also handle and cycle bags, locks, water bottle holders, bike kickers, as well as the traditional bell.
With the repair side of this range, it includes cycle puncture repair kits, tools, brake sets, brake cables, gear cables, as well as tyre pumps and inner tubes.
The Svitol bike care range is a complete offering of bike maintenance products for cleaning, degreasing and lubrication.
A known lubricant brand in Italy, Svitol’s dedicated bike range includes disc brake detergent, bike chain lubricant specifically for wet conditions and bike chain lubricant for dry conditions, there is also degreaser, bike detergent and general bike chain lubricant.
To further assist in selling and displaying the range, Svitol has a counter display unit available, which comes fully stocked with 18 units – three of each product – to help maximise sales.
JRP has a 60,000 sqft warehouse and office in Chichester and supplies more than 5,000 products to various markets, with its core business focusing on the automotive sector.
Its brands include Autobar, Ecomotive, Simply Brands, J-B Weld, Tecniks, Fresh Scents, Petronas, Stoner Car Care, Quixx and Invisible Glass, amongst others.
