Title: Workshop Manager / Lead Mechanic Job Location: Crowborough East Sussex Salary: £22-£25k dependant on experience and skill base How to apply: Email CV and covering letter to support@bikegoo.co.uk Job Description: To be responsible for the general organisation and day to day running of our workshop. You will be servicing, building and repairing bikes daily whilst also using our workshop booking system to allocate workshop time and manage workload. You will need to be able to communicate clearly with customers and staff. You must be confident and have an advanced level of knowledge of cycle mechanics especially concerning mountain bikes. This includes brake bleeding, basic to advanced suspension servicing, wheel building, frame bearing replacement, Invisiframing and experience working on e-bikes, although additional training can be provided where needed. You must be a keen mountain biker, know your MTBs inside out and be enthusiastic and motivated to keep abreast of new developments in the MTB world and keen to discuss ways to incorporate them into the business. You will be a key member of the business and will work closely with the Managing Director, including having regular meetings to plan and discuss business opportunities and ideas. The successful candidate will be asked to complete a trial period with the business. This is a full time role based at our shop in Crowborough. The standard shop opening hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9am-5pm. Working times are slightly flexible and if specific hours are required, this can be discussed.
