WE NEED A WARRANTY / SUPPORT MANAGER TO JOIN OUR BUSY TEAM
We are based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, we are a bicycle manufacturer covering everything from kids bikes to downhill bikes and everything in between.
We are looking for a Warranty Manager to come on board and help keep Orange Bikes at the forefront of the industry. This is a pivotal role and will see you involved in many aspects of Orange Bikes customer services requirements.
The candidate needs to have a great customer service and a good technical / mechanical understanding of all kinds of bikes.
From working with our dedicated dealers to organising inventory and aiding in consumer queries you will cover a multitude of varying tasks. You will work within the warranty team to offer market leading customer service.
- You will be responsible for processing and supporting all warranty claims
- Provide timely, clear, and high-quality service to our internal and external sales staff, authorized dealers, and Orange Bikes riders
- Answer customer & dealer service emails and phone calls related to possible warranty issues
- Keep a detailed and well maintained log of ongoing warranty / customer issues
- Review cases and provide feedback to the team on trending issues, needed quality control improvements, and general status of the quality of Orange Bikes and our customer satisfaction in the market
- Facilitate and be involved in the inspection of incoming warranty bikes, frames, and parts
- Prepare and ship replacement frames and parts
- Regularly review warranty stock of frames and parts
- Keep an organized and efficient storage of warranty and service parts
- Assist with various assigned duties as set forth by management
- Aid in populating the online store and arranging assets for listings
Essential qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal/relationship skills – Ability to communicate and cooperate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intimate knowledge of full bicycles and components of all levels
- Able to work in a professional manner in a team environment
- Able to multi-task effectively
- Attention to detail and quality
- Strong organization skills
- Able to carry out assignments with little supervision
- Proficiency with technology (Email, team collaboration software, Microsoft Office programs, email, PDF creation, etc.)
Beneficial qualifications:
- Experience in bicycle or other high-end consumer goods industry
- Bike shop experience a plus

28 days annual holiday, + extra days for additional years of service, bonus incentives and generous staff discounts.
Working hours are 8am – 5pm Monday-Thursday and 8am – 1pm Friday (yes, you read that right).
