Supply Chain & Production Manager RIF BIKES LTD Greater Manchester, UK (This role is not location-dependent) £15,000 - £20,000 a year - Part Time - 24 hours per week - Permanent RIF BIKES is a start-up folding bike company. Founded in 2020 by former Bentley and Dyson designer James Harness, RIF BIKES is launching in 2023 with next-generation products to bring desirable, space-efficient active travel to customers worldwide. RIF BIKES seeks an individual to plan and manage bicycle production and to implement systems that underpin our production plan. This role is part-time with a view to becoming full-time after six months. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, strategic and organised Supply Chain & Production. You will work closely with the Founder across all facets of the business and will be able to take ownership of projects and feed into high-level decision-making. Profile You’ll have a Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative subject (ideally STEM) Experience and in-depth knowledge of Inventory Management Systems such as Unleashed, CIN7, Tradegecko, etc. An entrepreneurial mindset - We’re ambitious about our growth, so you need to thrive in an environment of change and uncertainty. High levels of energy and a hard-working profile You are logistically minded, organised and great at multi-tasking You have at least 1-3 years of relevant experience in operations, administration, or logistics role You are very systematic, organised, and conscientious and don’t turn a blind eye to issues but instead, you dive in and have a strong desire to solve them. You have a basic understanding of financial metrics and accounting Core Responsibilities Purchasing of materials and components and liaison with suppliers Stock control Planning of production activity and delivery schedule Line management of production and assembly Inspection of incoming materials and components Quality system management Direct and implementation of new processes Work closely with distribution colleagues to ensure deliveries and returns are executed in a timely fashion Work with the team to ensure all products are listed on our customer platforms to coincide with product launches or other required dates. Essential Skills Drive, Business Acumen, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Curiosity, Creativity Excellent verbal and written skills Competent user of Microsoft Office 365 Software Good analytical skills with excellent attention to detail Proven ability to deliver work tasks and projects accurately and on time.
