Purpose of Role

Leading from the front in this pivotal role you will be delivering excellent customer experience in your store. Whilst sales of bikes and other cycling related products will be important, equally so will the speedy turnaround of maintenance and repair work in a fully equipped workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to demonstrate a sound retail background, not necessary gained in the bike industry
• People management experience and excellent interpersonal skill
• Experience of delivering on and above store KPI’s
• Proven achievement of budgeted sales and profit targets
• Great leadership qualities to nurture the talent of the team/s
• Experience in the management of processes e.g. recruitment, performance, appraisals, target setting)
• Weekend working on a rota basis

Person Specification

• Minimum 3 years line management experience
• IT proficient
• Excellent communicator – in person, by phone, email
• Analytical and action orientated
• Excellent delegation skills
• Innovative approach to seize upon new opportunities
• Flexible – dynamic and measured in equal measure, as appropriate
