About Sigma Sports:

Sigma Sports began with a simple idea: create a place for people who love cycling to get the very best kit, advice and service. Over time, that passion has grown into a leading premium retailer for cycling and triathlon, supporting athletes at every level.

Today, Sigma Sports is a business driven by performance, quality and trust, with a team who are proud of what we do and how we do it. We care about our customers, we care about our craft, and we care about each other. It’s a place for people who want to be part of something growing, where ideas are welcomed and effort is noticed.

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to take full ownership of our organic social channels – shaping the strategy, creating standout content, growing engaged communities and turning organic reach into measurable commercial impact.

What you’ll be responsible for:

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll:

  • Lead social-first thinking across campaigns, working closely with the Content Manager to shape ideas that perform on social, not just look good elsewhere
  • Own day-to-day management of our organic social channels across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and Strava, ensuring a consistent, premium brand presence
  • Create, film, edit and publish short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), from concept through to final post
  • Confidently appear on camera to bring products, features and behind-the-scenes content to life
  • Spot trends, cultural moments and platform shifts early – and react quickly with relevant, engaging content
  • Grow engaged communities through proactive interaction, replies and relationship-building
  • Use social as a shoppable channel, building content that drives traffic and supports commercial goals
  • Track performance, report on impact, and continuously evolve channel strategies using data and insight
  • Develop high-performance strategies for each channel with clear objectives, KPIs, and growth forecasts
  • Deliver regular, insight-led reports that inform future planning and quantify impact
  • Manage social budgets effectively with clear reporting on spend and efficiency

What we’re looking for:

You’ll likely have experience managing organic social for a brand and:

  • Be equally comfortable with strategy and hands-on execution
  • Have strong instincts for what performs on different platforms
  • Enjoy being creative, visible and proactive in how you bring content to life
  • Be data-aware and commercially minded, caring about impact, not just engagement.
  • Be confident collaborating with designers, videographers and marketing teams.
  • Have strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, with a great eye for visual quality

Experience and skills required:

  • 4–5 years’ experience in a creative, digital, or social agency environment
  • Demonstrable success running a personal social presence with strong growth or engagement metrics.
  • Proven experience managing multiple channels with consistent, high-quality content output.
  • Strong understanding of organic social best practices, shoppable content, and platform-specific nuances.
  • Confident and natural on camera.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign essential).
  • Highly proactive, organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in budget tracking and financial reporting.
  • Team and solution orientated individual with a positive attitude

Why Sigma Sports?

You’ll be joining a premium brand with real credibility in cycling and triathlon, with the opportunity to shape how Sigma Sports shows up across social platforms. You’ll have creative freedom, ownership of channels, and the chance to build something distinctive in a space that’s fast-moving, visual and community-led.

If you love social, sport and storytelling – and want a role where you can genuinely make your mark – we’d love to hear from you.

Alongside that, you’ll benefit from:

  • Play a key role in shaping how Sigma Sports shows up in the market and in the community
  • Generous 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays
  • Work with premium brands, athletes and partners in the cycling and performance space
  • Excellent staff facilities, including showers and secure bike storage
  • Generous staff discounts on a wide range of premium cycling products
  • Access to a dynamic work environment with state-of-the-art workshops
  • Company pension scheme
  • In-house Cycle to Work scheme
