SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE HEAD OFFICE - HAMPTON WICK, GREATER LONDON AND REMOTE UK WORKING Sigma Sports is looking for a Social Media Executive to join our Social Media team. You will be responsible for accelerating our existing Social Media strategies as well as planning, curating and creating engaging content for the Sigma Sports communities. About The Job The role will see the successful candidate managing all the social media channels, campaigns, overall online presence to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction. The individual will need to be confident in researching and analysing social media trends, including social media ad revenue and web visitor data to improve social media presence and campaign efficiency. Understanding key audiences and having the ability to create key strategic messaging for followers is of utmost importance. This position would see the successful candidate working with various company departments to promote the overall brand through all marketing platforms. There is the opportunity to travel the UK and Europe attending the largest races in the sport with access to Pro Teams behind the scenes. This role will create audience-focused reports for Sigma Sports social channels both on a regular (i.e. monthly) and irregular basis (i.e post-campaign) Support the Content & Social Media Manager on the administration and publishing of content on the Sigma Sports Social Media channels Monitor customer reactions on Social Media channels and act as a Brand Ambassador Provide analysis of what's working and what's not working and feed that back to the creative team to inform their creative output and publishing schedules Act as a focal point for the dedicated social media channels, create and advise on the content to be shared through the company’s social channels (including team stories, graphics, photography, videos, results) Create and coordinate web and social media content calendars, including activation before, during and post-event. Include any paid media activity and briefings Propose and organise posts within that calendar to support an “always-on” activation approach Deliver a rich stream of original visual posts, created by the design and photography teams Identify and engage with teams and influencers to drive online advocacy for the programme Attend events and deliver live content throughout the approved platforms Liaising with and sourcing influencers Actively following trends and developments in the social media world About You Live and breathe road cycling and triathlon Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Social Media Executive within an e-commerce environment Experience in building and presenting social content strategies Experience in writing social media reports across BAU and campaigns Enthusiasm for social and digital trends and culture An understanding of audiences, what makes them tick and how to create them Strong ability to work under pressure, work independently, and manage multiple projects Excellent English writing skills are essential (previous experience in content for social media and web channels or websites desired) Experience in management of social media channels, especially Facebook and Twitter, and demonstrate a deep understanding of the features and functions of these channels Candidate must also have knowledge with regard to the social media landscape, including platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr, Instagram, Vimeo and Strava Strong organisational skills and problem-solving capabilities Commitment to the organisation’s mission and goals A team player, with the ability to work with a large team of different people in various roles on a day-to-day basis The above list is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the role.
