The Electric Bike Shop in Solihull is looking for a part time Electric Bike Sales Assistant to join our expanding team. You will be assisting our Sales Manager serving customers in the store and over the phone, carrying out technical handovers, managing deliveries and carrying out sales administration. You will also be responsible for the day to day running of the store including stock control and managing our cycle technicians when our Sales Manager is out of the branch visiting our other stores. An interest and passion for cycling is essential, experience / knowledge of electric bikes would be a bonus but full E-Bike training will be provided. A knowledge of bike mechanics would be great although not essential. You must be a flexible and committed with a can-do attitude and being solution focused and optimistic is an absolute must. A high level of customer care is required; you must be very approachable and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to commute with customers who have varying levels of cycling experience. The successful candidate will have strong problem solving skills and demonstrate an ability to use their initiative whilst working independently as well as working as part of a well-established close knit team. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar retail role and is now looking for part time position or someone who is ready to take a step up to the next level. Part-time hours: Saturday & Sunday, 14 hours per week Expected start date: ASAP Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Salary: £12,000.00-£18,000.00 per year pro rata depending on experience.
