The role 

You will be a key part of the team and play a pivotal role in the production team; the creation of this role coincides with the launch of a new product.  

Your principal role will be helping to ensure smooth running of the warehouse, working across our existing and new ranges as required whilst upholding our excellent workshop standards. This role can expand to match your ambition.  

This will be a 20 hour per week contract with scope to extend to full time if required by Atherton Bikes. If you would like to discuss this, please mention this in your application. 

Responsibilities  

  • Putting stock away as it arrives 
  • Updating stock system 
  • Completion of stock take once per month 
  • Keeping a log of deliveries 
  • Kitting up for assembly staff 
  • Kitting up bond staff 
  • General shop floor help where required 

Ideal characteristics   

  • Diligent attention to defined process and procedure  
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment where priorities may shift  
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined, with ability to work independently once tasked  
  • Good verbal and written communication skills  
  • Ability to enjoy a flexible work schedule including weekend work   
  • A willingness to “do what it takes” to get the job done – as a company in scale-up phase there will be unexpected challenges  
  • Awareness and commitment to health and safety and recognition of the importance of creating and maintaining a very clean, controlled environment 
  • A team player  
  • A strong sense of pride in your work

Expected salary – dependant on experience  – £24,800 to £25,000
