About the role We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Marketing Executive to work on the biggest Cycle Show in the UK; Cycle Show and London eBike Festival. You will be organised and creative with content and have the ability to support our Marketing Manager to plan and deliver first-class multi-channel marketing campaigns to attract the right quality and quantity of visitors and to achieve maximum revenue. Able understand the objectives and timescales for an event, you will work with external suppliers, partners and exhibitors to gain further insight to our customers’ needs and create targeted content and well written, accurate copy for the key audiences identified in the communications plan. As a Senior Marketing Executive, you will: Work with Marketing Manager on the creation, development and implementation of the marketing plan to achieve objectives relating to visitor attendance and revenue targets Assist in the production of targeted and effective marketing materials based on a specific cohort and content strategy for each event Assist in the planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns including print and online advertising, direct mail, email, sales promotions and partnerships, social media and PR campaigns Work with the Marketing Manager on the development of contra agreements, media partnerships and relevant industry organisations ensuring all relevant materials are delivered in line with deadlines Support with the delivery of event features (e.g. exhibits, demos and other relevant content) as required Ensure each event websites is kept fully up to date with relevant content and consistent tone of voice in line with offline promotional material Deliver agreed briefs for relevant agencies and suppliers including; design, ticketing, print and website Manage email marketing using the Adestra platform, delivering segmented campaigns in line with the cohort/content strategy with well written and engaging copy Liaise directly with exhibitors to ensure they are apprised of relevant marketing activity and that maximising marketing opportunities pre, during and post-event Report on ticket sales weekly (daily when on site) Help manage the ticket registration company/Box Office onsite at each event Ensure ongoing measurement, evaluation and adjustment of campaign and website performance utilising GA, sales reports and ERM tools, as well as visitor surveys to fully understand our visitor behaviours Help collate and prepare detailed results of the marketing campaign for the creation of post-show reports Requirements Knowledge and experience of delivering content rich campaigns across multiple marketing channels is fundamental Proven success within digital marketing is essential Good analytical skills and data-driven thinking, allowing an analytical approach driven by targets A good understanding of all marketing channels The ability to think creatively Strong negotiation skills Highly organised with excellent time management Experience in consumer events or exhibitions, preferably within a Senior Marketing role Demonstrable market and industry knowledge with an ambition to grow and develop the events industry Demonstrable experience in overseeing SEO/SEM, PPC campaigns, marketing databases, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns Knowledge of and experience with website CMS Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and measurement Benefits A relaxed working environment with regular socials including a summer festival Immediate Community webinars including Yoga, exercise, cooking classes and so much more! 25 Days holiday plus a day for your birthday and a company day A progressive and transparent culture with clear career progression Flexible working Cycle to work scheme Competitive pension plans Life Assurance A newly renovated modern office with lots of collaborative spaces We pride ourselves on our open, collaborative, and dynamic culture.
