DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST Working in the Marketing team, the role requires a positive and highly organised individual, with knowledge and experience in digital marketing. The successful candidate will work to develop a strategic online marketing plan across our cycling brands. Overseeing the eCommerce strategy, the successful candidate, will have good experience with market research and analysis, as well as experience of website management and eCommerce usability. Previous experience in digital marketing is essential and a passion for all things cycling is advantageous. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES A clear knowledge of the eCommerce space; including marketing strategies, consumer research, and industry trends. The ability to manage and execute marketing campaigns across multiple digital channels. Creativity to develop, monitor, write and review content across our eCommerce platforms. The ongoing review of the format and features of our websites to support the consumer experience. A comprehensive understanding of SEO and PPC best practices. The ability to manage eCommerce inventory to support web shop. A commercial view and ability to create and deliver digital marketing reports to the senior team. A team player who is able to work with our web development team as required. Keen to learn and challenge by keeping on top of developments in e-marketing. Strong research skills to understand our brand demographics and methods, to connect with users and identify opportunities. Responsible for maximising search traffic. Working to a budget. Creating standards for best practice approach. Liaising with senior management for sign off of strategy. Work under the direction of the European Marketing Manager to deliver company digital strategy. THE PERSON The successful candidate will be self-motivated and well organised, with proven experience of managing digital strategies. Experienced with interpreting analytics into measurable market data with a clear technical understanding of digital marketing. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and problem solve easily. The role requires a commercially focused person, with a disciplined approach who is creative, adaptable and results driven. The ideal candidate will have excellent written skills as well as be approachable and have a sound understanding of current marketing concepts. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Educated to A/AS Level or equivalent Digital marketing degree or previous digital marketing experience highly desirable THE PACKAGE Competitive salary, experience depending.
