Brand Promoter – Leatt & Sweet Protection

The role: 

To further build on the position of Leatt & Sweet Protection in the UK cycling market we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Brand Promoter to join our team.  

Reporting to the Head of IBD Sales, working predominately in the field, the role centres around strengthening brand relationships with key dealers, supporting in-store activity, staff training and ensuring best in class product presentation.  

The Brand Promoter will also be involved in consumer and trade events, showcasing current and forthcoming products in the collection.  

Regular visits to HQ in Darlington will be required to engage with the brand and sales team, learning about the product and inputting to future ranges. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Build brand relationship with key dealers across the UK, working closely with sales teams 
• Install brand POS and merchandise stores to create attractive, shopper friendly apparel and protection displays  
• Train Staff in store on product details, USP’s and sales techniques  
• Co-ordinate and attend dealer events and rides to promote the brand  
• Support all aspects of consumer and trade events, including set up and attendance
• Work closely with brand team to maintain comprehensive knowledge of brand values and product across current and forthcoming ranges and provide product and feedback into the new product  development cycle  
• Collaborate with Marketing team on POS installations and content delivery from dealer and brand events  
• Attend and support seasonal sales launches 

Key requirements: 

• This varied and rewarding new role would suit someone with an outgoing, enthusiastic nature, and a true passion for technical cycling apparel and protection. 
• You will be self-motivated, with an outgoing personality, extremely organised and have a keen eye for detail.  
• 2+ years experience in retail or sales role in cycle, outdoor or fashion industry  
• Knowledge and experience of in-store merchandising with a keen eye for shopper friendly product layout and presentation detail.  
• Excellent communication skills, able to listen, learn, engage and educate. 
• Strong organisational skills, able to plan mid to long term activities and balance a variety of tasks 
• Keen interest in cycling with an understanding of the various disciplines and trends within the cycling sector  
• Ability to work on own and as part of a team  
• Proficient in MS office applications, including Excel  
• Full UK driving licence  
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekend and evening work as the role requires 
• Central location, able to travel across the UK
