Job Description:\r\n\r\nAt Bolt Bikes we seek people who are fun, energetic, customer friendly and hard working. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating customer servicing & maintaining bikes at a Central London workshop. In addition, we will need assistance in providing inductions to new riders and, if you are interested, helping market our product and services to the Rider Community in London.\r\n\r\nThe bicycle mechanic\u2019s job is key to our success as you will be essential to ensuring customers get the best experience. You will report to our U.K. Operations Manager, but you are expected to be proactive and manage your own time and responsibilities.\r\n\r\nRESPONSIBILITIES\r\n\r\n \tCommunicate with our customer service team to schedule customer appointments\r\n \tBe customer service oriented and personable as you are the face of our company\r\n \tRepair bicycles to U.K. Cytech standards (or equivalent) and assess any damage to the bike to determine whether it is wear and tear or damage\r\n \tMaintaining a consistent inventory and order parts when necessary\r\n \tAssemble new bikes and perform quality control checks to ensure the safety of all bicycles - this is paramount\r\n \tMaintain and update our systems by recording all the work you do\r\n \tSupport the marketing of our bikes through various channels e.g. at delivery partner hubs, social media etc.\r\n \tProvide feedback about bicycles and work with colleagues on ways we can improve our product or service\r\n\r\nSKILLS\r\n\r\n \t3-5 years of shop experience, although exceptions will be entertained\r\n \tKnowledge of how a bicycle works including how to assemble and disassemble a bike\r\n \tKnowledge of how to fix batteries and the electric components of an e-bike is (Cytech qualified or equivalent) *PREFERABLE*\r\n \tAbility to manage his or her own time and prioritise what\u2019s important\r\n \tGood team player who is looking forward to working with team members based all over the world\r\n \tA passion for fixing things and start-ups\r\n \tFlexibility: because we are a start-up we hope you can work more days and slightly different hours, where required\r\n\r\nTIME COMMITMENT & BENEFITS\r\n\r\nInitially we are looking for someone to 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).\r\n\r\nThere may be opportunities for more days and flexibility as we grow.\r\n\r\nPay is negotiable and best of all you get to be part of a fast-growing company with opportunities to help in other parts of the business.
