We are now proud members of the Signa Sports United family!\r\nWhat\u2019s in it for you \u2013 The benefits\r\nIf working alongside some for the most creative and innovative people isn\u2019t enough, we also offer you:\r\n\r\n\r\n \tExcellent career progression opportunities\r\n \t25 days annual leave\r\n \t5% pension contribution\r\n \tStaff discount\r\n \tHealthcare plan\r\n \tCompany Bonus\r\n \tCompany sporting events, smart casual dress code and a brilliant company culture.\r\n\r\nWhat will you be doing?\r\nWorking closely with the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for maximising the stores profitability and commercial presence in the retail market.\r\nThe role will have a strong strategic slant with the Assistant Manager being instrumental in monitoring and delivering the store\u2019s performance against plan.\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\n\r\n\r\n \tDelivery of KPI\u2019s in the following areas: Sales, merchandising, replenishment, stock keeping, order management and quality\r\n \tManage inventory levels\/costs through the effective use of the reporting tools available through the EPOS system\r\n \tAnalyse sales information and forecast future sales volumes to optimize stock levels, margins and profits\r\n \tDrive sales through various commercial initiatives\r\n \tMaximize sales through dynamic merchandising and store layout\r\n \tControl of Store overhead costs\r\n \tResponsible for stock loss\/variation ensuring regular auditing of stock\r\n \tAnalyse and interpret industry and local trends to facilitate stock planning\r\n \tDevelop and support relationships with key stake holders to promote the store and the organization at large, via for example local schools, newspapers, cycle clubs and the local community in general\r\n \tLead changes to improve the business, respond to competitor initiatives, contribute to the strategic marketing and PR support provided by CRC\r\n \tEnsure store presentation is to a high standard, ensuring close monitoring of general housekeeping and store layout\r\n\r\nExperience:\r\n\r\n\r\n \tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 proven management experience in a customer facing retail environment\r\n \tMinimum of 2 years\u2019 experience as a Supervisor in a retail environment\r\n \tProven ability to drive sales and customer satisfaction levels.\r\n \tProven experience of managing a medium sized diverse team in a sport, leisure or cycle retail environment\r\n \tKnowledge of the sport of cycling industry\r\n \tA cycling enthusiast\r\n \tHigh degree of customer focus\/responsiveness\r\n \tProven ability to inspire and work pro-actively within a team\r\n \tCommercial and financial acumen\r\n\r\nBeing diverse and inclusive are key to our company values.
