Storck Bicycle and Jan Ullrich have agreed to collaborate. The former pro rider will act as brand ambassador for Storck Bicycle.
Ullrich has had what could be described as a chequered career: it was stopped abruptly by the discovery of his connection to doping and to Dr. Fuentes.
"But he is still an idol for thousands of fans and recognized as one of the most important German riders," said Markus Storck, managing director of Storck Bicycle
"It’s a pleasure to work with Jan. We see the human Jan, who cares about cycling with a passion. It’s our passion too and we like to support him with the best bikes."
Ullrich said he the relationship with Storck Bicycle would be "faithful and amicable."
He added: "I’m absolutely convinced of the high quality of Storck bikes."
Ullrich will be riding a Storck Aernario in the Cape Argus Tour in South Africa on 9th of March and at eponymous training camps on Mallorca in March and April. He will also attend Storck Cyclingweek in the South Tirol, 6-14th April.
"The Aernario is one of the best bikes I have ever ridden," said Ullrich.
