Thieves targeted store between 2am and 2.30am this morning

J E James suffers break in at Chesterfield store

Chain Store and online giant J E James has suffered yet another break in, occuring in its Chesterfield store between 2 am and 2.30 am this morning.

Andy Liversidge said: "The bike thieves broke through the main door and managed to locate two of the most expensive bikes in the shop.

"The first bike stolen was a Lapierre Zesty 914 2011 in a Large 50cm worth £4,800.00 at RRP, and the second bike was a Kona Stinky Air 2008 in a Medium 15.5” worth £3,000.00 at RRP.

"They then made their get away in a small van and headed towards the Sheffield area.

"We are issuing a reward of £500.00 to anyone who supplies information leading too the arrest and conviction of the offender(s). If you would like to contact us regarding the matter email, or call 01246 453 453 and ask for shop manger Dean Poole."
