Intense Cycles has just unveiled the all-new Intense Carbine, the Californian brand’s latest JS Tuned 155mm rear travel race machine, which will be available for purchase this July.
The new Intense Carbine has been completely redesigned by Intense founder and MTB icon Jeff Steber. The result is a carbon racing bike with optimum 29er geometry.
This bike is available in five models with two finish choices per model, as well as a frame-only option in two finishes. The Factory, Elite and Pro builds – plus the frame-only option – come with an ultra-light SL carbon frame and TI hardware; the Expert and Foundation models use a full carbon frame with alloy link
The new Carbine is packed with features including internally sleeved cables, integrated Boost 148×12 dropouts, JS Tuned suspension with 155mm metric shock and 160mm front travel, integrated chainstay protectors, a flak guard with integrated cable guides and a super low stand over.
Intense Factory Racing team rider Jack Moir has already been putting the new Carbine through its paces at the EWS. The bike achieved three top ten finishes out of three races and multiple top-three stage times.
