Inaugural Cycling Weekly awards to take place on 12th December

Cycling Weekly will be celebrating the biggest names in cycling at its inaugural awards night in central London on 12th December.

The winners of ten awards will be crowned at the ceremony, hosted at 8 Northumberland Avenue.

The awards are:

Male Rider of the Year in association with Nederburg Wine

Female Rider of the Year in association with British Cycling

International Rider of the Year in association with Sigma Sports

Domestic Rider of the Year in association with PedalSure

Outstanding Achievement in association with Specialized

Lifetime Achievement in association with bikeZaar

Rising Star Award in association with 100% Eyewear

Club of the Year in association with Santini

Best Charitable Initiative in association with Sports Tours International

Local Hero in association with Freewheel

The black tie affair includes a welcome drinks reception, three-course dinner accompanied with wine, and the awards ceremony, hosted by Matt Barbet and the comedian Patrick Monahan.

The celebration will continue with live music late into the night.

This is an exclusive event and there are only a limited number of tables available, tables cost £2,500 for ten guests and single tickets cost £250 plus VAT.
