Changes at the top for Immediate Media's sports portfolio

Immediate reveals publishing changes for BikeRadar and Cyclingnews

Immediate Media has changed its publishing structure for www.cyclingnews.com and www.bikeradar.com to accelerate its digital strategy for the Sport portfolio, it says.

Stuart Forrest – Digital Publisher on the award-winning www.radiotimes.com – is also taking on CyclingNews, while Publishing Director Dave Clutterbuck will focus on BikeRadar. MD of Sport Steven Seaton is taking responsibility for the print brands in the portfolio.

The changes come as Publishing Director Richard Schofield is leaving the business at the end of June.

Seaton said: “I’d like to thank Richard for his significant contribution to the growth and success of the Sport group. Over the past ten years he has been instrumental in transforming what were four primarily UK focussed cycling magazines into the world leading, digital and print cycling portfolio which we acquired last spring.”

Immediate says it is the world’s biggest cycling media company, reaching over 6 million cyclists a month and with well known print titles including Cycling Plus, ProCycling, Mountain Biking UK and What Mountain Bike.
