Ibis Cycles releases third generation Ripley

Ibis Cycles’ UK distributor 2pure has announced the arrival of the third generation Ibis Cycles Ripley.

The bike benefits from increased tyre clearance to accept up to 29 x 2.6" Schwalbe or Maxxis 29 x 2.5" wide trail tyres, a new clevis design, making the bike 29 x 2.6" tyre compatible and two brand new colourways. The 3rd Generation Ripley inherits the more aggressive Ripley LS geometry and will continue to be called the Ripley LS.

Since Ibis Cycles originally designed the Ripley, 29er wheel and tyre technology has continually improved. Ibis increased the tyre clearance with the launch of the Ripley LS, but now that tyre manufacturers are manufacturing more 2.6" offerings, the brand commented that it was time for another update.
