IBD helps to bring MTB DH World Cup event to UK

The DH event was originally awarded to a town in Japan but when it pulled out, the UCI awarded the contract to Forster’s team instead.

Forster is the race organiser for West Highland Wheelers and has organised BCF/SCU events on the Off Beat Downhill track at Nevis Range Ski Centre for seven years.

The £250 000 required for staging the event is to be raised by Rare Management of Edinburgh. Rare is also to be the event management team.

The event is to be staged 15-16th June.
