Nineteen i-Bikeshop IBDs now have shopping carts.
This is "phase one" of the i-Bikeshop ecommerce module, said Watts.
"Each site can customise their cart to their own needs, including two payment methods. They can select to display summary pricing in euros and/or dollars. They have control over
how carriage is calculated and even what their cart is called and what text
appears on certain buttons."
Existing i-Bikeshop clients received their cart upgrade without any change to their ongoing expenses and all new sign ups will receive the cart as a standard feature of the system.
"The system has evolved steadily over the past seven months since I first launched it, many of the upgrades and updates being user suggested," said Watts.
The next upgrades to i-Bikeshop will be a site product search engine and a secure server option for the shopping cart.
