‘Fit Wet’ are set to bring a new concept in indoor cycle fitness to Interbike, according to an article on Gizmodo.
The ‘hot tub spinning machine’ claims to exercise all the major muscle groups (don’t ask us how), stating that as water is denser than air, the workout is more thorough. The firm says the device combines the ‘benefits of a spinning workout, with the theraputic properties of water’ and can even rehabilitate.
The $18,000 devices ‘flushes itself’ after every use and among other claims, touts itself as being able to prevent calcium depletion and decrease the risk of osteoporsis.
Is this a real thing? Bikebiz will be at Interbike and we intend to find out more…
