British component brand Hope has launched a new hub designed to be run with Berd spokes. According to Hope, it combines their proven precision-machined aluminium hub with a spoke interface optimised for Berd’s unique construction, into a hub “built for riders who demand durability, stiffness, and weight savings.”
The new hub is on display at Velofollies this week, at the Hope Stand: Booth 128.
Optimised Flange Design
The Pro 5 hook flange hub uses a redesigned flange to provide precise spacing, angle, and seat profile required for Berd spokes. Developed under official license and approval from Berd following joint testing, this interface ensures a secure fit, consistent tension, and excellent long-term durability—whether used in aggressive trail riding or high-mileage gravel applications.
