At the forthcoming Eurobike 2009 trade event, Finnish component manufacturer Herrmans will mark its half-century with an industry gathering.
The firm produces over 50 million plastic parts every year, including grips, lights, reflectors, chain guards and rim tapes to name a few. Distributed by Component Force in the UK, Herrmans will also debut a range of new products at Eurobike this September.
“We are very proud that we have been able to build the company during these 50 years gradually to one of the major suppliers for bike manufacturers and after market customers,” said Herrmans president Reijo Tiuraniemi. “Our focus has been always to develop products which enhances riding experience of especially European bikers. That has been accomplished by innovative product development and high quality production, located in Europe.
“Our products are still for 95 per cent made in Europe. We are pleased to offer our products and services in the future to our customers, which we are delighted to meet in Friedrichshafen.”
The firm has also launched a new website in the anniversary year, as Herrmans marketing manager explained: “Since it is our 50 years Anniversary, we felt it was a suitable time for an update of our electronic appearance.”
