Hammerhead has announced the launch of ‘Karoo Share’, a new feature that enables riders to instantly share routes and riding profiles directly between Karoo devices – no smartphone app or Internet connection required.
With Karoo Share, riders can send routes or profiles from one Karoo to another in seconds and immediately start riding. Whether at the start line of a race, a group ride meetup, or a remote trailhead, Karoo Share removes the friction of last-minute setup and makes it easier than ever to get dialed and ride together.
Karoo Share also further unlocks one of Hammerhead’s biggest strengths: deep profile customization. Riders who have spent time dialing in data fields, screens, and layouts can now share their profiles instantly with friends, making it easier to connect, share, and experience the full power of Karoo.
The new feature is compatible with the Hammerhead Karoo released in 2024.
The Hammerhead Karoo offers a single-point union to experience and control every aspect of your ride: from the data you see and record, to your routes and workouts, connected components and AXS products, E-Bikes, and ANT+ lights.
Riders can easily add enhanced and customized capabilities on Karoo from a growing list of partners in our on-device Native Extension Library or via simplified extension and third party app sideloading through the Hammerhead Companion App.
