Firm supports downhill events and releases new product lines

Halo Downhill Series clears up with Muc-Off

Muc-Off has been enlisted as official Bike Care partner of the 2011 Halo Downhill Series, offering free bike washing and lubing at selected rounds of the 2011 season.

The firm is also sponsoring the National Downhill Championships next July (22nd to 24th, 2011), where it will provide free cleaning services to all racers.

Muc-Off MD Alex Trimnell enthused: “We are delighted to become a partner for both the Halo British Downhill Series and the 2011 National Downhill Championships. The Muc-Off range is growing rapidly across the bicycle, motorcycle and automotive markets and we felt that it was important to support our national downhill series as mountain biking is where it all started for us.”

Race directo, Si Paton added: “We made the big trip to Eurobike, and Muc-Off were the first stand we visited, we went full chat to sign them as we knew what a valuable service this would be.”

Muc-Off also has two new product iterations in the offing; the Silicon Shine and Foam Fresh.

Leaving a sparkle on metal, rubber and plastic parts, the Silicon Shine reduces dirt build up on treated parts and is particularly effective on carbon fibre. It reduces the friction on fork stanchions, eliminating the build-up of seal stiction. It also reduces the build-up found on suspension units and rear shocks. Available in 500ml aerosol, the shine is priced at £6.99, and comes with a Cherry Pop fragrance to boot.

The Foam Fresh cleaner – ideal for helmets and soft material – is now available in the larger 400ml can for £5.99. Instant foaming action gently agitates dirt and grime away, leaving a fresh Citric Burst fragrance.
