Halfords to stock video recording cycling sunglasses

Halfords is to stock a range of sunglasses with an in-built video camera, aimed at cyclists.

The Zebra SS Video Record Cycling Sunglasses combine UV ray protection with a hidden pinhole camera sitting within the frame. An internal 2GB hard drive captures video and sound in high resolution, with a micro SD 2GB card slot available for extra memory.

The CMOS hidden camera is 1.3 mega pixel, with a power duration of four to five hours from the 550mAh li-polmer rechargeable battery. The glasses also include an integrated MP3 player.

Headphones are included in the pack along with a protective carry case, USB connection lead, lens polishing cloth, mains adaptor and user instructions on CD. The glasses software is compatible with Windows 7, XP and Vista.

According to Halfords.com, the Zebra SS sunglasses are a web exclusive retailing at £79.99.
