Retail giant brings in Real Classic brand

Halfords moving with town bikes trend

Halfords has stepped into the increasingly-popular town bikes sector, introducing a brand dubbed Real Classic to its stores.

Describing the bikes as ‘fashion accessories’, the classic styled builds are equip with modern components and are said to come without the premium often atached to the niche.

The men’s and women’s Real Classic are now available for £249.99 in two sizes.

Featuring a steel frame with relaxed geometry, a Sturmey Archer three-speed gear hub, V-brakes, fitted rear pannier rack for easy load carrying and colour coded mud and chain guards, the design emulates the bike culture established in cycle-friendly European cities, such as Copenhagen. The look is completed with a genuine wicker basket also available from Halfords.
