It’s being reported by Sky News that Halfords has made an offer for the struggling Evans Cycles chain.
Halfords was amongst a number of bidders that presented offers for bike chain earlier this week.
Halfords has declined to comment.
Evans needs find more than £10 million to see it through the next few months of trading, Sky News says.
Halfords has a market capitalisation of £669 million.
