Drastic discounts available for limited time

Halfords cuts Carrera bikes to ‘lowest ever’ prices

Halfords is pushing its Carrera line of bikes to consumers with a sale that started this morning. The bikes are at their ‘lowest ever prices’, according to the retailer.

Running until midnight on Monday May 16th, an extra 20 per cent is being taken off the price of all adult Carrera bikes. The Carrera Kraken is now priced at £303.99 (including the 20 per cent discount applied when the bike is ‘in the basket’) – formerly £499.99, while the Carrera fury is now £439.99, cut from £594.99.

Discounting product is a controversial topic in the trade – cycle sales trainer Colin Rees sparked a heated debate on price cuts with a column he wrote for BikeBiz earlier this year.
