Ceramic coating specialists, Gtechniq Ltd, have announced the appointment of two new team members across their Marketing and Product teams, as the company continues to grow both its product range and market position across multiple sectors.

Michael Braybrook has joined as Bike Marketing Manager, whilst Dan Duguid has taken on the role of Product Category Manager.

Michael Braybrook

Michael brings over 15 years of marketing experience, with over 7 years in the bike industry, working at the distribution level, delivering both B2B and B2C activity across road, gravel and MTB. His primary focus is to strengthen Gtechniq’s capacity to support global distributors and raise brand and product awareness with end users.

Commenting on his new appointment, Michael said: “It’s such an exciting time to come on board with Gtechniq, a brand with such a strong reputation in the automotive sphere already. The product is easy to use and provides genuine, tangible benefits, making our lives easier; less time cleaning bikes and more time riding is a win-win in my book. It’s a great opportunity for bike shops too, with great upsell opportunities at point of sale and a workshop line for point of service that offers even better value for money.”

Dan joins as an industry veteran, with over 20 years of experience across multiple roles in the cycling industry, from reviewing and testing product for Cycling Weekly, to leading multiple brands under UK distributor Saddleback.

Dan Duguid

His main responsibilities are bringing new products to market whilst constantly improving the existing Gtechniq range across all sectors.

Whilst my experience lies firmly on the bike side, my background in product management puts me into a perfect position to help drive development of the Gtechniq range. Working with the team in our in-house laboratory, we can drive improvements with product, packaging and application to make it even more effective and easier to use.”

Dan added: “We’ve got some exciting new products launching this year in every category including Bike, watch this space.

The appointments come at a significant stage in Gtechniq’s growth as the company continues to expand internationally and invest in new technologies designed to deliver long-lasting protection and easier maintenance across automotive, marine, and bike applications. With demand for high-performance surface protection continuing to rise globally, Gtechniq remains committed to developing cutting-edge solutions backed by science, testing and real-world performance.
