New CF3 power pack and 'plastic jazz' revealed

Green Oil launches new look and logo

Green Oil has unveiled a new logo and look following continued growth from its garden shed inception.

As shown off at the recent NEC Cycle Show, characters from around the 1940s will feature on Green Oil bottles. New plastics will be used on all future batches too.

Currently 100 per cent recycled white plastic is used for 100ml bottles but the firm said it will switch to using random coloured plastic, so future Green Oil bottles could even be multi-coloured. The move comes as multi-coloured plastic gets shipped abroad or wasted with little UK demand, so Green Oil has switched to using this plastic, creating a demand for it and encouraging recycling.

Reclaimed fizzy drinks caps will be used on future bottles of Green Clean too.

In terms of new products, Green Oil has launched the CF3 Power Pack. The kit, including a straw and button, is used to enhance the CF3 reusable lube spray. The non-toxic lubricant spray doesn’t have to be used in a well-ventilated area, according to the firm.

“The 2012 Green Oil re brand will take the company even further, and the new greener bottles mean where helping the environment that extra bit too,” said Simon Nash, Green Oil founder and director.

The brand is available to the trade through Upgrade on 01403 711 611 – www.UpgradeBikes.co.uk.
