Take out a banner ad on GoFar at the standard rate of £1 per clickthrough and we will cap the rate at £50 per month, for three months, says Carvel Lonsdale, commercial manager at GoFar-mtb.com.
If no one clicks on your banner you pay nothing. If 50 people click on your banner you pay £50, but if 1000 people click your banner you still only pay £50!
GoFar is pitched at the more mature mountain biker and the site says it has 7000 regular readers each month.
The helmet-cam footage from the Avalanche cup mentioned last week on bikebiz.co.uk was downloaded over 1000 times in the first two days.
The downloadable routes section complete with OS maps is also getting some good traffic. The Bingley route card has been downloaded by 1500 users to date.
GoFar-mtb.com says their fifty quid a month capped rate offer expires on 14th October.
