Giant Bicycles has announced the opening of its latest Giant store, which will be operated in collaboration with JE James, a long-term partner of more than 30 years.
The two-story store is located near to Barnsley Interchange and The Glass Works and will provide an extensive selection of bicycles and accessories from JE James, a long-established, family-owned enterprise, and Giant.
The all-new store will showcase the latest cycling technology and equipment. There will be a range of bicycles, accessories and apparel for cycling enthusiasts of all levels.
Ian Beasant, managing director of Giant UK, commented, “With its combination of great products, fantastic retail environment, and a strong established retail partner, JE James will guarantee that this store will not disappoint.”
Catering to all riders, this newly refurbished store has a selection of bikes available, including a complete range of road, mountain, electric, commuter, and children’s bikes.
“To see the reinstatement of the amazing building in Barnsley is worth a visit alone”, continued Beasant.
The store will offer Giant, Liv, Cadex, and Momentum products. The team of staff will support customers with everything from bike fitting to bike servicing.
Additionally, the store is set to host a number of events, workshops, and group rides to enrich the cycling experience of those in and around the community. In weeks to come, all of these details will be accessible on the store’s site.

The doors officially opened on Saturday, May 24.
Giant opened its first brand store in 2009. It plans to roll out other stores in key target locations with dedicated independent partners in the coming months.
