Giant launches Click and Collect

Customers perusing the Giant site can now order product online and collect via their local Giant retailer.

Making good on its promise to include consumer purchasing on its UK website, as revealed in September, over 150 bikes will be available to buy online.

The site works with independent Giant retail partners, with Click & Collect available at participating Giant stockists on the UK mainland and Northern Ireland. Giant has plans to roll the C&C dealer network out into Ireland in spring, as well as expanding the product offering to include Giant’s increasing ‘Gear’ line-up.

“Click & Collect is all about consumers convenience, “ explained Giant UK MD Ian Beasant. “At the same time we are maintaining Giant’s principles of delivering the right bike, making every riding experience better and more enjoyable whilst supporting our retail partners by offering them a new sales channel that relies on their knowledge, experience and skill.

“We have some really exciting projects underway and developments already planned for the new Giant Click & Collect website. The way in which consumers interact with brands has changed significantly in recent years and Giant embraces the challenge of exceeding these changing consumer expectations. We have the best products in the world and we want to share this passion and enthusiasm with the people who choose to invest and choose Giant.”

Giant will celebrate 40 years of manufacturing bicycles next year. It said it has digital projects in the works, set to engage with Giant fans and support its network of authorised dealers, introducing the brand to new customers.
