A Kent schoolboy - enterprisingly - has written to BikeBiz asking us to publish his request for summer work experience

Rabi Guthrie writes:

"I am a fifteen year old GCSE student and in the summer of 2000 I have to do a week of ‘work experience’. I am interested in doing something with bicycles, working, for example, in a small bicycle design firm or a bicycle builder/workshop."

"I do not expect any pay from anyone."

The perfect employee then! Naturally, nobody in the trade would steep so low as to take advantage of such an offer and would give the lad a bit of a wage. He probably won’t be able to travel far from his home in Herne Bay, Kent.

His address is:

21 Lancaster Gardens

Herne Bay

Kent
