After cementing its presence in the US and Canada, Gemini Lights is eager to get closer to the UK market, seeking more stockists and distribution channels.
The brand is releasing two new lights for the coming season, including the Gemini XERA – a lightweight, versatile and extremely bright light.
The brand originates in British Columbia, Canada and has a significant presence in Canadian bike shops particularly, as well as three in the US and four in Australia and New Zealand (full listing below).
At present, the brand can only be found in the UK at Freeborn Bikes, which is also a new distributor, the brand tells BikeBiz. Gemini added that it is eager to offer affordable solutions to the riders in the UK and has been in contact with a number of UK magazines for product reviews.
General manager Christopher Lai told BikeBiz: “We are looking for both distributors and retailers in the UK and we do stock smaller bike stores as well. Our lights are priced very aggressively and I’m sure they would be a massive hit in the UK, as they are in North America.”
The firm is also raising its profile with a marketing push, including a video with a video with Aaron Larocque, shooting night riding footage in HD.
