Gates has introduced new Carbon Drive products for use on premium e-bikes equipped with the newest Bosch Model Year 2020 electric motors.
The new Gates Carbon Drive spider assemblies are engineered for use with Bosch Performance Line Speed, Performance Line CX, Cargo Line and Cargo Line Speed systems. These new Gates products will allow e-bike makers to create next-generation belt drive electric bikes across the full range of styles including urban, cargo, trekking, e-MTB and folding.
The spider assemblies provide optimal belt lines for combining the new Bosch motors with all of the leading internally geared hub shifting systems from Shimano, Rohloff and enviolo. Gates is offering its assemblies with four-bolt or five-bolt spiders and multiple front sprocket options, from 39-tooth to 63-tooth, for a wide array of gearing options.
