Electric bike retailer Fully Charged is marking more than a decade in the industry with the launch of Ride Fest, a new series of community-focused eBike events taking place across the UK this spring.
The events are designed to bring together riders, families and people curious about electric bikes in a relaxed environment where they can spend proper time with the bikes and the people who ride them every day.
Ride Fest is intended as a celebration of the community that has grown around electric cycling over the past decade.
“We’ve seen families doing the school run by cargo bike, commuters replacing the train, and riders discovering how practical electric bikes can be,” the team says. “Ride Fest is simply a chance to bring that community together.”
Whether someone is actively considering a purchase or simply curious about electric bikes, the events are designed to be open and welcoming.
London Bridge Event – Sunday 3rd May
The headline Ride Fest gathering will take place at Fully Charged’s London Bridge headquarters.
For the event, the store and courtyard will be transformed into a full day of riding, food and family-friendly activities.
More than 50 eBikes and cargo bikes from leading brands will be available to test ride, while visitors will also be able to pre-book bikes for a community ride out to Victoria Park, finishing with a picnic.
Alongside the riding, the day will include food and drinks from neighbouring venue Nine Lives, as well as a number of family activities designed to make the event accessible to riders of all ages.
Activities planned for the day include:
- Kids disco
- Kids yoga
- Colouring wall
- Pottery wheel taster
- Beyblade tournament
- Family photo station
- Raffles and prizes
- Community ride out to Victoria Park with a picnic!
