Fuel your ride with a Rocket Espresso machine subscription

Rocket Espresso is well-known in the world of cycling. The brand’s quintessential Italian espresso machines have been the pro cyclist’s home coffee maker of choice since 2008.

Founder, ex Team Sky and British Champion pro cyclist, Russ Downing has now collaborated with Rocket in Milan to start offering Rocket Espresso machines, for the first time, on a subscription basis.

This new subscription offering aims to make Rocket Espresso machines more accessible to a younger audience, who would love to have a ‘Rocket machine in their kitchen to go faster’, but had previously found the machine and grinder too expensive as an outright purchase.

Downing says: “It’s common knowledge that my affinity for coffee runs deep. Throughout my two-decade
career as a professional athlete, it was rare for me to step out of the house without indulging in at least two shots of espresso.”

So with Downing’s help riders and coffee fans can now ‘Fuel Your Ride’ for just £2.50 per day, getting a Rocket Espresso machine and grinder, and a delivery of fresh beans, every month.

There’s no minimum term, and you can switch beans between 20 different speciality roasters.

Rocket’s connection with cycling dates back to New Zealand founder Andrew Meo. Downing plans to grow this connection further by backing cycling teams at both a pro and grass roots level, and make Rocket machines more affordable for anyone wanting espresso as fuel.

Downing comments: “We’re thrilled to announce our support for women’s cycling for the 2024 season. Keep an eye out for Team Pro-Noctis – 200º Coffee – Hargreaves Contracting Ltd on the road.

Espresso is well known to help your performance, with over 3200 customers including hundreds of professional athletes getting their Rocket Espresso through us.

Downing and Rocket believe monthly subscriptions will be a real game-changer, making Rocket affordable for many more coffee loving cyclists.
