From Côte d’Azur to Spitalfields, Café du Cycliste opens London store

Chic cycle-clothing brand Café du Cycliste is today opening a store in London, the first destination outside the company’s flagship location in Nice’s Old Port on the Côte d’Azur. The store design references the brand’s Provençal roots with details such as traditional terracotta floor tiles.

As well as selling high-end cycle clothing the store will "actively set out to inspire customers to plan a visit to the South of France," said a compant statement.

Café du Cycliste launched in 2009. The brand’s collections, for both men and women, combine technical fabrics, performance features and "modern Gallic flair," says the company.

"Always inspired by the routes and roads of the Alpes-Maritimes, modern silhouettes and imaginative detailing underpin the clothing brand’s signature style," continues the statement.

The store is located in Spitalfields at 32 Artillery Lane E1 7LS, and will open for seven days a week.
